EZ-Move – Switching Banks Made Simple We make it easy to switch your accounts from your old bank to Wells River Savings. First you’ll need to open a new account with us. Then we’ll help you take care of all the details by providing you with all of the forms and letters you need to transfer your accounts and funds.
What you’ll need to get started:
- your new account numbers. You can open a new account by visiting one of our branches, or by contacting our Call Center at 1-800-371-2361.
- the name and address of the bank(s) where your other account(s) are held.
- the numbers of your account(s) with the other bank(s).
- the account balance(s) with the other bank(s).
- your name as it appears on your accounts with the other bank(s).
- If you are the primary account holder, you will need the name, Social Security number and mailing address of any secondary owner on the account(s).
- If you are the secondary account holder, you will need the name, Social Security number and mailing address of the primary account owner on the account(s).
- Note: If your account with another financial institution is a trust, DBA, or is titled other than by your name, you may be required to close the account in person at that institution. Please contact the financial institution where the account is held for assistance.
- your legal address.
When you have all of the above information gathered, you are ready to get started. Important forms
Here are the forms* you will need to download, print, complete and sign, depending on the activity you set up with each of your other bank account(s), and the activity you would like to set up with your new account(s): - Payroll Direct Deposit Request: A letter instructing your payroll department to deposit your paychecks directly into your new account (or switch the direct deposit from your former bank account).
- Automatic Payment Form: Utilize this to have bills automatically paid from your new account (or switch payment from your former bank account).

- Account Closing Letter: A letter to your former bank authorizing them to close out your account(s), including instructions on what you want done with the remaining funds.
